Samsung has just unveiled the Galaxy Z Fold 7, the Flip 7, and the more affordable Flip 7 FE, along with the new Galaxy Watch 8 series at its July Unpacked event. Along with new hardware, there are big announcements on the software front, too, as the two flagship foldables arrive with Samsung’s One UI 8 skin based on Android 16 out of the box. With One UI 8, the Fold 7 and the Flip 7 are also receiving several useful new features.
One of those new additions is “Call Captions.” As the name indicates, Call Captions in One UI 8 can transcribe calls in real time, noting down what each participant says. As per the feature’s description, this allows individuals with hearing difficulties or those in loud environments to better understand what is being said.
