There are several ways to achieve a sub-three-second sprint in a car. You could move the engine from the front to the back so that there’s more weight over the rear, making a standstill start smoother, as Chevy did when they developed the C8 Corvette. You could also send power to all four corners, like Audi had done with its late R8.
