Mazda has revealed a fully redesigned, third-generation CX-5, marking a new chapter for the popular compact crossover SUV. Set to arrive in showrooms early next year, the 2026 model brings a number of notable upgrades, including increased interior space, a large touchscreen similar to what you get in a Tesla, and a simplified lineup that will initially offer just one powertrain. That lone powertrain is the outgoing CX-5’s standard naturally aspirated 2.5-liter inline-four, producing an unchanged 187 horsepower and 185 lb-ft of torque.
