Logistics Property Company has broken ground on Fords Prairie Industrial Park, a 604,000-square-foot development in Centralia, Washington.
This is LogiPropCo’s third project in Washington state, following the fully leased Tacoma South and Frederickson ONE developments that total three million square feet across six buildings. Fords Prairie Industrial Park is centrally located along Interstate 5 between Seattle and Portland, allowing access to three major ports and a nearby railway served by Union Pacific and BNSF.
Developed by Logistics Property Company, the project’s general contractor is Poe Construction. NELSON Worldwide is the project architect, Barghausen is the civil engineer, and AHBL is the structural engineer. The project’s leasing representatives are Vanessa Herzog of Lee & Associates and Mike Avila of Pacific Rim Real Estate Group.
The building will feature a 42-foot clear height, 6,000 amps of power, and a spec office totaling nearly 9,000 square feet. With 38 EV charging stations and a Solar PV system planned, the project is pursuing LEED Gold certification.
