Sales of the Chevrolet Corvette have been flagging slightly through the first half of 2025, and although it continues to be the most popular premium sports car on the market today, its rivals are catching up. Porsche in particular enjoyed a significant sales bump for the 718 Boxster and 718 Cayman through the first six months of the year, and the German automaker’s combined 718 and 911 sales are within striking distance of the heavy Chevy. The Bow Tie’s sales crown remains undisturbed, but if the C8 Corvette continues on this path, there might be a new king of the hill by the end of the year.
