Shelby American is hard at work on its next product, teasing a sports coupe that’s obviously based on the Ford Mustang for a debut next month. Although details remain scarce thus far, the teaser image posted to the tuning company’s Facebook page betrays a fair amount about the newest Shelby ‘Stang, and we really like what we see. That said, Ford itself has been rather quiet on the matter of a followup to its in-house–built GT350 and GT500 from the previous-generation Mustang, making us wonder if the companies’ marketing departments have gone through a break-up.
