ExxonMobil’s former 290-acre office campus in Irving, a 360,000-square-foot campus made of granite and glass, is still for sale. However, the Dallas Business Journal reports that the sprawling former headquarters is attracting interest.
The company relocated its headquarters to Houston a few years ago, and it has been on the market since then. Exxon Mobil sold the property at 5959 Las Colinas Blvd. to Capital Commercial Investments in a sale-leaseback deal, allowing Exxon to remain on-site temporarily while relocating to a campus in Spring, outside Houston.
Capital Commercial and a leasing team from commercial real estate firm JLL say they are taking inquiries from prominent corporations. T.D. Briggs, Blake Shipley and Ashley Curry are leading the effort for JLL.
The office building is on a rolling, landscaped site complete with walking trails, two ponds, an outdoor plaza and covered parking. It is crafted with rare materials from around the globe and has several top-shelf amenities.
