BMW wants you to buy its 2026 M850i xDrive Edition M Heritage, which, apart from having a mouthful of a name, is effectively a collector’s grade farewell to the modern 8 Series. The company is only producing around 500 units globally and is currently driving up the fever pitch to get people to part with its sticker price of $131k. But before you rush out to buy one, pause and take a look at a regular M850i xDrive, which may be around six years old now, but is essentially the same car as today’s newcomer.
