It would take some years before other cars with four-digit horsepower figures became the new standard for separating the fast from the purely psychotic, and in the years that would follow, all manner of supercar, hypercar, EV, and even specialized muscle machines like the Dodge Challenger SRT Demon 170 had a new horsepower target in their crosshairs.
