In a world where SUVs dominate the automotive landscape, Kia has chosen a different path, striking a balance between comfort and luxury. The South Korean manufacturer has launched the 2026 Carnival Hi Limousine in its home market, targeting families and fleets seeking upscale versatility without the premium price tag of ultra-luxury vehicles.
What’s New?
The 2026 Kia Carnival Hi Limousine features a distinctive taller roofline and elongated frame that creates an impressive road presence, contrasting with the standard Carnival’s traditional, flatter profile. Privacy-tinted panoramic rear windows come standard, with optional curtains for enhanced privacy, while the standard Carnival uses transparent glass. The extended rear side windows stretch further toward the vehicle’s tail, emphasizing its limousine-like proportions.
VIP Seating Configuration
The Carnival Hi Limousine is exclusively available in four-, seven-, and nine-seat configurations. The four-seater transforms the rear into a luxury lounge featuring fully reclining VIP chairs, extended legroom, ottomans, and premium leather upholstery. The seven-seat layout maintains passenger indulgence with second-row individual seats equipped with massage functions from back to calves and superior cushioning. Convenience features include soft-close power sliding doors, retractable side steps, and illuminated entry plates.
Step Inside the Ultra-Luxe MPV
Luxurious amenities abound throughout the cabin, including cooling and heating cup holders with dual slots front and rear, plus an onboard refrigerator. Premium car mats provide plush comfort in most variants, while the four-seater features an elegant rear wood floor. Four individual LED reading lights in the high roof offer personalized illumination for reading or entertainment.
The centerpiece is a 21.5-inch rear monitor providing cinema-style entertainment, paired with a 7-inch touch controller. An eSIM router enables Wi-Fi connectivity (separate data subscription required). Starry sky mood lighting on the ceiling creates an enchanting night-sky ambiance. The four-seater variant includes a second-row foot massager and dedicated shoe storage compartment.
V6 and Hybrid Powertrain OptionsÂ
Two powertrain options are available. The first features a 3.5-liter V6 gasoline engine producing 290 horsepower, mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission for smooth performance. Environmentally conscious buyers can choose the 1.6-liter turbocharged hybrid system, combining a petrol engine with an electric motor to deliver 242 horsepower while ensuring quieter operation and improved fuel efficiency.
Kia Carnival Hi Limousine Pricing
