Yet another plug-in vehicle is being killed off before it even had a chance. Stellantis told suppliers on Friday that it would no longer be moving forward with the Jeep Gladiator 4xe, which would’ve borrowed the Wrangler’s turbocharged, plug-in hybrid four-cylinder powertrain. The move is surprising considering the 4xe is a rather popular choice among Jeep shoppers, but Stellantis says there just isn’t enough demand to justify moving forward with a pickup variant.
