The 2026 Nissan Sentra just made its debut, featuring new styling, a revamped interior, and a luxurious new SL trim level. But not everything is fresh, as the 2.0-liter four-cylinder and continuously variable transmission are carryovers from the last generation. CarBuzz had a chance to see the latest Sentra at a studio in California, and we sat down with two product experts who explained why Nissan didn’t focus on enhancing the engine, but rather maximizing value.
