Other manufacturers are pivoting away from EVs in America, following the elimination of the $7,500 federal tax credit. But Polestar doesn’t have that option. The brand is going all-in with major updates for the Polestar 3 for 2026. Polestar simplified the trim lineup to Rear Motor, Dual Motor, and Performance. A new 800V architecture delivers faster charging. Upgraded electrical motors and batteries provide more power and, for some trims, increased range. Polestar says the Polestar 3 will arrive in early 2026 in the UK. Information on the American rollout and timing is not available yet.
