While the project is best known for its high-end retail condo units, DC Partners has not forgotten about the retail users in the project. The Houston Business Journal reports that the mixed-use development along Allen Parkway will soon feature a new $12 million parking garage to serve its retail offerings. The Allen development is home to The Allen Lifestyle Pavilion, a 62,128-square-foot, four-story, standalone retail and restaurant space, which was completed in 2022.
DC Partners plans to build the 502-space precast parking garage at 1729 Allen Parkway.
The 172,350-square-foot structure is scheduled to break ground in November and is expected to be completed by September 2026. Kirksey Architecture is to design the new parking garage.
The $500 million The Allen development is anchored by The Residences at The Allen, a 35-story, $290 million tower at 1711 Allen Parkway with a 170-room Thompson Hotel on the first 15 floors of the building and 99 condo units on the remaining floors.
