Audi’s turbocharged 2.5-liter inline-5, found in high-performance models like the RS3 sports sedan, is on its way out. Stricter emissions rules are making it increasingly difficult to keep the iconic engine viable, and while Audi hasn’t announced an official end date, the writing has been on the wall for some time.
