A fact that has become inescapable over the last ten years or so is that the automotive world is changing, and drastically so. The emphasis on lowering emissions from the vehicles we rely on, as well as making them as fuel-efficient and cheap to run as possible, has meant manufacturers have had to embark on different directions. Once used in practically every mid-size-plus car on the road, the trusty V6 is one of the biggest victims of this approach.
