AAA Says Pedestrian Safety Systems Work A Lot Better Than Six Years Ago

There’s good news if you’re going for a walk in the dark. According to a new study from AAA, modern pedestrian detection systems only hit about half of the people they encounter unexpectedly in the dark. If that doesn’t sound great, consider that just six years ago, the pedestrian automatic emergency braking systems tested didn’t manage to avoid anyone.
