Alliance Residential acquired a 20.4-acre site at 12420 Hambright Road in Huntersville from American Asset Corp. for $8 million. The Charlotte Business Journal reports Alliance will build a 358-unit garden-style apartment community there called Broadstone Bryton.
The development will include one-, two- and three-bedroom units across 10 three-story apartment buildings. Floorplans are expected to range from 700 to 1,400 square feet. The property will also have a freestanding clubhouse, fitness center, clubroom, game room, coworking offices, resort-style pool, outdoor kitchen with grilling stations, dog park, pickleball court and community green space.
The project will be adjacent to American Asset Corp.’s mixed-use development Bryton Town Center and within the 450-acre Bryton master-planned community, which includes residential neighborhoods, retail centers, walking trails and entertainment.
Units are expected to begin delivering in the second quarter of 2028.
The acquisition was one of four properties the firm plans to close on in 2026.
