
Industrial outdoor storage provider Alterra IOS has acquired a twelfth site in the Chicagoland area.
Located at 216 W Diversey Avenue in Elmhurst, the 2.8-acre property includes 35,000 square feet of warehousing space and designated office space and is fully leased to a regional leader in the heavy-duty truck sector. Alessandra Bianchi of ONE Commercial Real Estate represented Alterra in the acquisition.
Situated ten miles southwest of Chicago O’Hare International Airport, the location offers easy access to Chicago and the greater Midwest through key highways and airports, with direct connectivity to I-290, I-294, and Route 20.
“This acquisition demonstrates Alterra’s continued focus on strengthening our portfolio in one of the nation’s most competitive industrial markets, while developing positive long-term relationships with key national and regional tenants,” says Parker Pearson, Senior Vice President of Acquisitions at Alterra IOS. In 2024, Alterra also acquired three sites totaling 14 usable acres in the Chicago metropolitan area.
