Seefried Industrial Properties is planning to develop a new 1.6 million-square-foot Amazon center in Troup County. The facility, which is anticipated to launch in 2027, will be Amazon’s third sortation center in the state of Georgia.
Located along Highway 54/E. Main Street near Bass Cross Road, the facility will serve as a node in Amazon’s national logistics network. The Hogansville location offers access to key infrastructure, including direct connectivity to Interstate 85 and proximity to Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport.
Amazon employees will sort orders by final destination and consolidate them onto trucks for delivery.
The Conlan Company serves as the general contractor. AECOM is the project architect, and Eberly & Associates is the civil engineer.
Seefried delivered a 640,000-square-foot fulfillment center in 2020 for Amazon in Stone Mountain, Ga, for $237 million.
