While American car enthusiasts have a wide variety of choices available when it comes to selecting their next set of wheels, there are also lots of interesting models out there that, for one reason or another, don’t make it to the States. One such car is the third-generation Volkswagen Scirocco, a quirky hatchback (complete with “hot hatch” version) that attracted the attention of European gearheads but was not considered economically viable for the US market. The model’s first two generations, however, were both sold in the States.
