City of Carmel officials, community leaders and project partners gathered recently to celebrate the groundbreaking of Ardalan Plaza, a $19 million, three-story, mixed-use development that will serve as a gateway to the city’s vibrant Arts & Design District.
“Today’s groundbreaking marks an exciting milestone for our city,” said Carmel Mayor Sue Finkam. “Ardalan Plaza represents Carmel’s continued commitment to thoughtful growth, artistic vibrancy and a strong economy.”
Located at 311–331 W. Main Street, on the north half of the block between 3rd Avenue SW and 4th Avenue SW, Ardalan Plaza will encompass 8,000 square feet of retail and gallery space on the first floor, five luxury condominiums on the second floor and a private residence with a rooftop terrace spanning the third floor.
The project is a collaboration between the Carmel Redevelopment Commission and the Ardalan family, supported by Skender Construction, Studio M Architecture and Planning and KBSO Consulting Engineers. Construction is now underway and is expected to be completed in 2026.
