- Marks the arrival of a new flagship in Aston Martin’s legendary DB bloodline
- Builds on the DB12’s “Super Tourer” formula with added power and precision
- Gains extensive exterior and chassis upgrades for sharper performance
- Arrives in 2026 as the most refined expression of Aston Martin’s GT philosophy
The DB line has long been Aston Martin’s flagship grand tourer. From the early DB2 and DB5 to modern icons like the DB9 and DB11, each model has always been at the top of the British marque’s lineup before the hypercars. Introduced two years ago, the DB12 is the latest member of the DB line as Aston Martin’s first “Super Tourer,” pairing luxury with sharper handling and a renewed focus on driver involvement.
Fast forward to today, the British marque has unveiled its ultimate expression of that formula – the new DB12 S.
Positioned as the halo model of the DB range, the DB12 S builds on the standard DB12 with more power, refined dynamics, and distinctive styling updates that place it at the top of Aston Martin’s modern GT lineup.

Performance and Design, Elevated
At its core, the DB12 S retains the familiar 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8, but power now climbs to 690 horsepower and 590 lb-ft of torque, enough for a 0-60 mph sprint in 3.4 seconds and a top speed of 202 mph. Revised throttle calibration, faster gearshifts, and an optimized launch system all contribute to quicker, more precise responses. Carbon ceramic brakes come standard, saving 60 lbs of unsprung weight while improving pedal consistency and fade resistance.
Visual changes reflect its heightened capability. The DB12 S gains a new dual-element front splitter and functional bonnet louvres for improved cooling and downforce. Gloss black sill extensions continue the aggressive stance, while a fixed rear spoiler and larger diffuser improve stability at speed. Quad exhaust tips complete the model’s aggressive character at the rear, with an optional titanium system offering a deeper tone and reduced weight. The result is a grand tourer that looks as serious as it performs.

Focused Luxury Inside
Inside, the DB12 S introduces subtle but purposeful refinements that distinguish it from the standard model. A red anodised drive-mode controller anchors a cabin trimmed in full semi-aniline leather or a mix of leather and Alcantara, depending on configuration.
Buyers can select from Accelerate or Inspire S interior themes, featuring herringbone quilting, micro-perforations, and an Alcantara headliner. Standard equipment includes 16-way Sport Plus seats, with optional carbon-fiber performance seats for those seeking a more focused fit. Other details include embossed and debossed Aston Martin wings on the headrests, as well as color-coordinated seatbelts.
Pricing has yet to be disclosed, but the DB12 S will be offered in both Coupe and Volante forms, with customer deliveries set to begin in the first quarter of 2026.
