Demolition is underway on the Davie Street Parking Deck in downtown Greensboro (shown). The Triad Business Journal reports the move will make way for a new luxury apartment community with restaurant and retail space.
The city of Greensboro approved an agreement in June to transfer the site to BSC Holdings for the cost of demolition of the deck. The company developed apartment units on floors 4-9 of the adjacent Southeastern Building.
The company is building Davie on the Park, a 171-unit luxury apartment complex with about 3,000 square feet of first-floor retail and restaurant space. The idea is for BSC to link the latest project to the nearby BSC project.
BSC is working with architect LS3P.
BSC Holdings is the fifth largest apartment management company in the Triad, with 3,000 units across 15 properties.Â
