The Chevrolet El Camino is, essentially, a muscle car turned into a utility truck at the factory that went on to reach cult status. The Buick GNX is, essentially, a Buick Regal turned muscle car at the factory and reached cult status. And the result of someone merging the two together just came up for auction this past week on Cars & Bids. It’s a wild example of a project that’s had a huge amount of time and money put into it just so it can exist. It’s a bewilderingly beautiful build, but despite bidding reaching $85,000, the reserve was not met, and the car did not sell.
