
- Avison Young appointed John Cashin as market leader for its Palo Alto office. In his expanded leadership position, Cashin will continue to be an active brokerage producer, while taking on broader responsibilities focused on driving the strategic growth, operational leadership, and market positioning of the Palo Alto office.  With more than 20 years of experience in commercial real estate, Cashin has been at Avison Young since 2012, when he joined as a principal and participated in opening Avison Young’s first Bay Area office in San Francisco.Â
- NAI Capital Commercial has named Jim Kruse Executive Managing Director of the firm’s West Los Angeles office. Kruse, who joined NAI Capital Commercial in April as Director of Brokerage for its 13 offices across Southern California, expands his leadership responsibilities with this new role. Â
- Private real estate investment firm Rockwood Capital hired Jimmy Yung as Senior Managing Director, Global Head of Originations. Yung will be based in Rockwood’s Los Angeles office. He most recently spent seven years at Blackstone Real Estate Debt Strategies, where he served as Managing Director and oversaw the West Coast for their commercial real estate lending platform. Â
- Gabe Steffens has joined Mayer Brown in Los Angeles as a partner in its Real Estate and Real Estate Funds practices. Steffens was previously the global head of legal for Nuveen Real Estate and the general counsel of The Amherst Group.Â
- CBRE promoted Andy Schmitt to Managing Director and SVP. Schmitt will lead CBRE’s office sector in San Francisco’s East Bay markets, including Oakland, Walnut Creek and the Tri-Valley submarkets, while continuing his office leasing and sales practice. Â
- CBRE also announced that Jon Azulay has joined the firm as an SVP in its West Los Angeles office. Azulay will be a partner on the team led by Jacob Bobek and Scott Steuber and will focus on occupier leasing services.Â
- Anna Kampling has joined CBRE as a first VP with its Southern California multifamily investment sales team. She will work alongside Chris Tresp covering new middle-market multifamily properties in Los Angeles, Ventura and Santa Barbara counties. Kampling joined CBRE from Colliers, where she closed out over $500 million in both private capital and institutional multifamily sales.Â
- CBRE promoted Steffen Kammerer to Executive Managing Director. Kammerer leads CBRE’s office in Silicon Valley and will add oversight of the firm’s Palo Alto and Burlingame offices. Kammerer will manage over 100 producers across a variety of disciplines, including leasing, property sales, capital markets and debt and structured finance.Â
- Irvine-based Panattoni, one of the world’s largest privately held industrial real estate developers, has announced a strategic restructuring of its leadership team. Adon Panattoni has been appointed global CEO and will oversee the company’s strategy worldwide. He will continue to serve concurrently as CEO of Panattoni North America. Robert Dobrzycki will remain CEO of Panattoni Europe. In their regional roles, both CEOs will continue to lead their respective markets. Additionally, Bill Bullen has been named global COO. Doug Roberts will serve as President, North American Development, while Scott Siegel has been appointed CFO, North America.Â
- Kidder Mathews has added Andrew Rebennack and Cameron Baird to the firm’s San Francisco office as SVPs. Rebennack brings nearly a decade of brokerage experience—representing property owners, investors, and businesses in the acquisition, disposition, and leasing of commercial real estate throughout the Bay Area. Baird brings more than 20 years of Bay Area commercial real estate retail experience, with a focus on urban planning, leasing and sales,Â
- In Silicon Valley, Kidder Mathews hired David Cutler as an SVP. He specializes in commercial real estate investment sales and brings more than 20 years of experience advising clients on multifamily, single-tenant assets, office and industrial properties, and redevelopment opportunities nationwide.Â
- JLLÂ announced Nick LiVigne has joined as Consulting Lead for the Technology Division of JLL Work Dynamics. Based in San Francisco, LiVigne will focus on driving strategic, client-focused solutions, leveraging his extensive experience in the commercial real estate industry.Â
- Parkview Financial ,an alternative investments firm specializing in commercial real estate credit in the U.S., has appointed Scott Denham as Managing Director and Head of Constructio. Before joining Parkview, Denham served as an SVP at Mack Real Estate Group, where he led the national industrial development platform.  Â
- Western Alliance Bank announced that Charles Jones has joined the organization as senior director of Multifamily Housing Finance. Based in Los Angeles, Jones brings over 25 years of commercial real estate finance experience to the role. Previously, he served as managing director and VP of originations at M&T Realty Capital Corporation.Â
- Berkadia has added Managing Directors John Chu, Ed Rosen, and Tyler Sinks to its investment sales platform in San Diego. Chu, Rosen and Sinks began their roles on June 30. Â
