The Arizona Cardinals have updated their plans for their new training facility. They will create a new building at Paradise Ridge in north Phoenix, west of Scottsdale Road and north of the Loop 101.
The new facility, which will house both football and business operations, will serve as the anchor to a mixed-use, 217-acre site. The Cardinals’ facility will take up 30 of those acres and total more than 250,000 square feet. The team will also explore a mixed-use area, with the remaining land, with possibilities including corporate headquarters, restaurants, retail, medical facilities and residential spots.
The new operations center is expected to cost $200 million and is scheduled for completion in 2028. The Cardinals bought the property at auction in the summer for $136 million.
The new facility will feature three outdoor grass practice fields and a fieldhouse with a full-size indoor turf field, a modernized locker room, a weight room, sports medicine facilities, athletic training areas, meeting rooms, and a player lounge.
