Chevrolet scored a major hit with the Equinox EV. It’s not the sexiest car out there. It doesn’t offer blistering performance, delivering about 300 horsepower in more potent all-wheel-drive form. But even with the price jumping a bit and the federal tax credit getting eliminated, the Equinox EV still offers perhaps the most compelling range per dollar spent value proposition on the market. The front-wheel-drive Equinox EV starts at just $35,100 and delivers an impressive 319 miles of EPA range.
