The $65 billion Taiwan Semiconductor Manfucturing Company Plant in North Phoenix has attracted two more businesses, hoping to capitalize on the massive impact created by the chip maker. The 2,300-acre master-planned community surrounding Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co.’s north Phoenix campus has landed Costco and a Courtyard by Marriott and a Residence Inn, to be developed by Common Bond Development Group.
Both will be located at Interstate 17 and Dove Valley Road. An auto mall is also coming to the site.
Infrastructure work at Halo Vista is now in place with the site ready for the first phase of development.
Last May, Mack Real Estate Group and McCourt Partners spent $56 million in a state trust land auction to acquire the 2,300-acre site. The developers will now control land sales within the site as they build it out. At full buildout, the $7 billion project could amount to 30 million square feet of mixed-use space, including retail, office, hospitality, research, industrial and health care users, along with up to 9,000 residential units.
