It’s safe to say Gordon Murray knows his way around an engine. The man spent years designing cars for the pinnacle of motorsport in F1, engineered the McLaren F1, and has gone on to successfully launch his own supercar brand in Gordon Murray Automotive. Not to mention the fact that his career started out studying engine design. But according to the man himself, Cosworth left Gordon with egg on his face when designing the GMA V12 engine used in the T.50 – that’s not something many people can claim to have done.
