P3 Markets is trying to convince Miami Gardens officials to allow it to build a hotel on city-owned land near Hard Rock Stadium. On a public 3.5-acre piece of vacant land, P3 wants to build a 33,000 square foot hotel called The Beckham Hotel Miami Gardens. The S. Florida Business Journal reports that the plans also include a parking garage for use not only by hotel guests but also by patrons of the performing arts center across the street and community members.
The stadium is home to the NFL’s Miami Dolphins, the NCAA’s Miami Hurricanes and the Orange Bowl.
P3 Markets says it specializes in public-private partnerships and provides a comprehensive approach to real estate investments that inspires real, measurable change for low- to moderate-income communities.Â
The city will announce its intentions after a scheduled Wednesday vote on the matter.
