Diesel vehicle owners in the United States could be hit with record-high prices in the coming weeks, as the cost of refueling recently broached the $8 per gallon mark in San Francisco according to Fox Business. To the best of our knowledge, this is the first instance of a US station reaching this milestone. And it’s not over yet – the price for both gasoline and diesel fuel is on course to surpass the record-high national average set back in 2022.
