There are two methods to approach a vehicle like the 2025 Mercedes-AMG G63: you can use a rational mind to evaluate it, or do so with an emotional heart. The rational mind says this car is hideously expensive, built with off-road capability no one will ever use, and stuffed with luxury amenities despite being originally designed for military use. The emotional heart ignores the juxtaposition of a six-figure luxury off-roader, instead focusing on the iconic styling, the brutish twin-turbocharged V8, and the sinister side pipe exhaust. It’s just so gosh darn cool. To accurately review the G63, we need to take a little brain, a little emotion, and blend them up into a verdict.
