There is a preconception among some drivers that American performance engines may have plenty of raw power but tend to lack the sophistication of their European counterparts. Okay, well, tell that to European automakers, because they’ve been borrowing powerplants from Ford, Chevrolet, and Dodge for longer than our great-grandparents have been driving.
