When you live in cold-weather areas, the right layers make all the difference. I’ve come to love fleece-lined leggings as a go-to layering piece for winter. A little cold doesn’t scare me, I know it’s all about finding the right gear. I won’t stay inside in winter, I just need the warmest layers.

I discovered fleece leggings a few years ago. I loved the soft fabric an dow they locked in heat to keep my legs and butt warm. I used to get them from Athleta, but nowadays, Amazon has some great options for a lot less money. This brand has more two dozen colors available.
These leggings are super cozy and have a great side pocket. I wear them to walk the dog and go hiking. And on ski days, I layer them under my ski pants. The fit is easy (not too tight) and i wash and dry these with my regular clothing (no line drying).
