A new 8,000-square-foot events center with a 5,300-square-foot ballroom has opened in Portland, Oregon.
The Mindaro Event Center also has a 2,000-square-foot breakout room and banquetting capacity for 380 guests. The venue is located at 11707 NE Airport Way, three miles west of Portland International Airport and can accommodate meetings, seminars, galas and conferences.
The center is designed with integrated technology, and the on-site caterer is Jawfish Restaurant. The Mindaro Campus will also open Hyatt House Portland Airport this spring, providing 112 suite-style guestrooms, and Mindaro, a JdV by Hyatt hotel, will offer 88 rooms when it opens later this year.
“The Mindaro Event Center is a key element of a unique hospitality ecosystem in Portland, which will ultimately provide meeting planners and guests with endless possibilities to create bespoke experiences,” said Phillip Wilson, general manager. Vesta Hospitality, a hotel and hospitality management company based in Vancouver, Washington, is developing the property.
