
- Colliers hired Rafael Mendez as senior associate, industrial services in Central Florida. Mendez brings more than a decade of commercial real estate experience to the firm and will focus on advising mid-market industrial owners, particularly owner-users transitioning their properties into investment assets. Prior to joining Colliers, Mendez served as regional managing director at Saunders Real Estate, formerly SVN Saunders.
- GAIA Real Estate appointed Samantha Fields as Director of Investment Relations, expanding its presence across South Florida and the broader Sunbelt. Fields brings extensive experience working with institutional investors worldwide, including public pensions, insurance companies, endowments, foundations, and investment consultants. Prior to joining GAIA, she held senior investor relations and fundraising roles at The Carlyle Group, The Riverside Company, and Peakhill Capital.Â
- Savills hired Tom Viscount as Executive Managing Director. Viscount will lead and expand the firm’s industrial services capabilities throughout the Florida, with an initial focus on Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach counties. In his role, he will assemble and grow a high-performing industrial team covering the Miami, Fort Lauderdale and Palm Beach markets, while also supporting broader multi-market pursuits nationally.
- Crow Holdings Capital purchased Fowler Shopping Plaza, a 27,319-square-foot retail center located at 1510–1526 East Fowler Avenue in Tampa for an undisclosed price. Mike Milano and Nicholas Coccodrilli of Colliers represented the seller, CAKK Venture, in the transaction and secured a near-list price. The property was 96% occupied at the time of sale,Â
