
- Adam Smolyar has joined the firm as Chief Innovation and Technology Officer for American Landmark Apartments. In his role, Smolyar oversees the firm’s enterprise technology strategy, innovation agenda, and digital transformation initiatives. He is responsible for ensuring the firm’s platforms are scalable and reliable and will partner with American Landmark’s executive leadership team to streamline technology solutions and financial systems.
- Gray Construction Inc. of Kentucky received a $28 million permit for construction of an addition to the Publix refrigerated warehouse, located at 9800 Beaver St. West in Jacksonville. This includes approximately 537,587 additional square feet of grocery storage space.
- A New Jersey-based private entity has paid $27.2 million for a newly built Tesla dealership, service center and showroom in Kissimmee. Built in 2024 on 5.3 acres, the 57,528‑square‑foot Tesla dealership at 2935 N. Orange Blossom Trail in Kissimmee sold Jan. 30 in its first ownership transfer.
- A student housing apartment complex with nearly 50 units near the University of Tampa has changed hands. The Tampa Business Journal reports the 220 Madison, which has 48 apartments, sold for $21.8 million or $454,166 per unit to Washington International Service Executives.
- Continuum Co. launched sales for a condo tower along Biscayne Bay in North Miami that will feature a watersports theme. The Continuum 12000 Sport & Wellness Residences will include the Mermaid Club, a 150,000-square-foot space for sports and wellness along Biscayne Bay. The 20-story condo will have 262 units, ranging from 1,035 square feet with one bedroom to 3,543 square feet with three bedrooms. Prices start at $1.4 million.
