Latest Bronco Sport aims to win over style-conscious buyers
From its macho design to its above-average off-roading capabilities, the Ford Bronco Sport is an appealing compact crossover. It doesn’t demand the higher price and running costs of the larger Bronco, yet is a better adventure SUV than most rivals.
Since its launch, Ford has kept Bronco Sport fans intrigued with many special editions, trims, and styling packages. The latest addition to the lineup is the Bronze Package, which follows a general trend of bronze items in the fashion and jewelry industries.
Here’s a look at what’s included in the package and the trims it can be paired with.

The Coolest-Looking Compact Crossover Around?

The bronze coloring has been tastefully applied to the Bronco Sport, extending from the wheels to the badging on the front and rear. It works well when paired with paint colors like Oxford White, Shadow Black, Carbonized Gray, Velocity Blue, Space White, and Azure Gray. The 17-inch wheels have a mid-gloss finish, and the accents are also used on the fender vents. A black roof and grille complement the bronze touches nicely.
The package is available on the Big Bend and on the Badlands, and can also be combined with the Black Diamond Off-Road Package.

“For the past several years, bronze surfaced as a trend in fashion, jewelry, and other consumer products. Now, the trend has found its way into the automotive space, primarily among consumers who are gravitating toward aftermarket accessories like bronze wheels,” said Kristen Keenan, color and materials designer at Ford.
Inside, the painted bronze accents can be found across the instrument panel, around the vents, and on the door panels. Bronze badging is found on the center console, while Canyon-colored stitching has been added to the armrests, steering wheel, and seats to match the new trim.
Bronco Sport Sales Down In Toughest Segment
2026 Ford Bronco Sport—Bronze Package
The new Bronze Package could be an attempt to reignite slowing sales of the Bronco Sport. Although combined sales of Ford’s Bronco family (including the Bronco and Bronco Sport) reached 68,681 units in the third quarter, up by 11.9% year-on-year, this was mostly driven by a big increase in Bronco sales. In Q3, the Bronco Sport sold just over 30,000 units, a decrease of 10.92% year-on-year.
Most Ford SUVs went in the opposite direction, with models like the Expedition and Explorer seeing healthy increases in Q3 relative to a year ago.
In the compact utility segment, the largest car segment in America, the Bronco Sport has to fend off rivals like the RAV4 and CR-V. Many rivals now offer rugged trims, too, such as the CR-V TrailSport, and while these aren’t more capable than Bronco Sport, they give off the tough vibe so many customers find appealing.
With an all-new RAV4 about to arrive, the Ford has its work cut out for it, and it may take more than a new styling package to win over buyers.
Pricing for the 2026 Ford Bronco Sport and the new Bronze Package has not been revealed yet, but we expect it to become available this quarter.
