Ford Just Destroyed The AMG One’s Nurburgring Lap Time, But Not With A Mustang

Ford has been obsessed with the Nürburgring lately, sending its Mustang GTD around Germany’s “Green Hell” racetrack to achieve a quicker time after losing its American production car record to the Corvette ZR1. While it may not be the ZR1-smashing GTD rematch we’ve been waiting for, Ford just clocked a different Nürburgring record that was much quicker. In fact, with a time of 6:15.97 seconds, no American car has ever gone faster.
