Ford has been, and remains, a big exponent of the trusty V8 engine to this day, even when its rivals have ditched it in favor of more efficient powerplants. The mighty Coyote V8 still powers the venerable Mustang muscle car, while the heavy-duty F-150 pickup truck also continues to rep a V8. It intends to keep running it for as long as it can get away with too, in the face of modern convention that says smaller turbocharged engines are present and future.
