Professor Gordon Murray is one of those hallowed figures in the automotive industry, hailed as a god among men for his ability to engineer a lightweight masterpiece of a road or race car. He’s won in Formula 1, won at Le Mans, and engineered the cars dyed-in-the-wool gearheads revere, like the McLaren F1, and more recently, the Gordon Murray Automotive T.50 and T.33. He’s also been the champion of the V12 engine when it seemed like legislation would kill it.
