Groom Law Group has signed a 38,800-square-foot, long-term lease at Washington Harbour, a trophy office building on the banks of the Potomac River in the Georgetown neighborhood of Washington, D.C. The lease follows an additional six signed over the last few months, bringing the overall vacancy at this premier waterfront property to 13 percent.
Global Holdings has invested more than $10 million in renovations at 3000 and 3050 K Street, with more than 500,000 square feet in total office space. Recent enhancements to the property include a state-of-the-art conference center on the fourth floor of 3000 K Street.
“Georgetown is one of the most historic, but also vibrant neighborhoods in D.C.,” said Mac Hall, Senior Vice President, JLL. “Those were major factors in attracting Groom to select Washington Harbour as their new long-term home.” In addition to Hall, JLL’s Evan Behr and Jeanette Ko represented Washington Harbour. JLL’s Elizabeth Cooper and Lauren Nalls represented Groom.
