Healthpeak Properties acquired two Cobb County senior living facilities for a combined price of $240 million. The properties are expected to be transferred to the portfolio of Janus Living, a real estate investment trust that was spun off from Healthpeak. The sellers of the Atlanta-area properties to the Healthpeak affiliate were West Cobb Senior Living LLC and East Cobb Senior Living LLC, both of which list Nathan Madigan as the registered agent. The facilities were owned by a group led by Madigan.
The two Sterling Estates communities are located at 3171 Dallas Highway in West Cobb and 4220 Lower Roswell Road in East Cobb.
Sterling Estates of West Cobb is a 244-unit senior living community located on 29 acres in Marietta, Georgia. The campus provides a continuum of care, including 61 independent living cottages, 50 apartments, 90 assisted living apartments, and 43 memory care suites. The campus has a large Sterling Way wellness center with an indoor heated saltwater aerobic pool.
