From 1975 to 1980, Ferrari built the Dino 208 GT4 to get around displacement laws. The company only produced 840 of these engines and to this day it remains the smallest V8 ever made, at least on a production scale. But, the Buick 215 isn’t far behind, and it stands as the smallest V8 to ever come out of Detroit.
