American automotive history is ripe with iconic cars, much like all other wide-reaching markets across the world. However, while every market has its share of icons, they’re typically different in many ways. For example, Japan is well-known for small, extremely well-built and reliable cars such as the Honda Civic and the Toyota Corolla. Italy is best-known for its slew of supercars and sports cars, most of which were produced by Ferrari and Lamborghini.
