Mike Huckabee, U.S. ambassador to Israel, celebrated Tuesday after President Trump posted praise about the work he’s doing abroad.
“Whew! Looks like I still have a job!” Huckabee posted on the social platform X.
“Grateful for @realDonaldTrump whose leadership is making the world safer, more secure and more prosperous. Thanks @POTUS,” he continued.
The post included a screenshot of Trump’s Truth Social message Tuesday morning.
“Mike Huckabee has been a GREAT Ambassador to Israel. Thank you Mike!” Trump wrote in the earlier post.
The praise came shortly after the U.S.-brokered ceasefire agreement between Iran and Israel took effect, despite some early uncertainty over claims that both sides violated the agreement.
The former Arkansas governor was confirmed in early April to be Trump’s ambassador to Israel. He arrived in Israel amid heightened tensions in the region.
