In the U.S., we often find ourselves looking jealously at the cool car models that are only available overseas, particularly from foreign car companies. Every once in a while, though, we end up faring better than our friends elsewhere. For example, Europe doesn’t get an affordable, combustion-powered Hyundai N model anymore. Both the i20 N and i30 N were discontinued last year. Meanwhile, we still get the Elantra N, which features the same powertrain as the i30 N. It sounds like Europe might get some entry-level N fun again, soon, though, according to Autocar. The news outlet reports that the i30 N could return with new hybrid power. It also got us wondering about whether such a powertrain could have a place in America.
