Sports fans have a lot to be excited about as football is back, while baseball’s postseason is right around the corner. Not to be outdone, the NHL returns on October 7.
Hyundai is celebrating the latter occasion with a Canadian-exclusive special edition based on the new Palisade Hybrid. It follows in the footsteps of the well-received Santa Fe NHL Edition and is ideal for hockey moms.

They’ll be traveling in style as the 2026 Palisade Hybrid NHL Edition features a Creamy White matte exterior, which is unique to the seven-seat crossover. Buyers will also find a dual-pane sunroof and 21-inch alloy wheels with special center caps featuring the NHL team logo of their choice.
Bigger changes occur inside as the special edition has an exclusive Grey Charcoal Nappa leather interior. The fancy seats are joined by Luxwood door sill plates, special floor mats, floor liners, and a cargo tray. All four of those components were sourced from Canadian companies and can be customized with the NHL team logo of the customer’s choice.
Since the special edition is based on the range-topping Palisade Ultimate Calligraphy Hybrid, it comes nicely equipped with a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, a 12.3-inch infotainment system, and a 14-speaker Bose premium audio system. Other tech-focused goodies include a built-in dashcam and a wireless smartphone charger.
That’s just scratching the surface as the special edition comes equipped with heated and ventilated front seats as well as second-row captain’s chairs with heating and ventilation. Buyers will also find a heated leather steering wheel, a microfiber suede headliner, an ambient lighting system, and a digital rearview mirror with HomeLink.
The impressive list of equipment doesn’t stop there as the crossover sports a dizzying array of driver assistance systems. These include Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop & Go, Highway Driving Assist II, and Remote Smart Parking Assist. They’re joined by Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist, Rear Cross-Traffic Collision-Avoidance Assist, High Beam Assist, and Blind-Spot Collision-Avoidance Assist – among others.
Motivation comes from a eco-friendly powertrain that consists of a turbocharged 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine, a 1.65 kWh lithium-ion battery pack, a six-speed automatic transmission, and two electric motors. This gives the crossover a combined output of 329 hp (245 kW / 334 PS) and 339 lb-ft (459 Nm) of torque. More importantly, the all-wheel drive model returns 8.1 L/100 km (29 mpg US) combined.
If that wasn’t enough to win you over, the special edition comes with an exclusive Hyundai x NHL Yeti Roadie 32 wheeled cooler. Buyers will also be entered into a drawing for a chance to win a trip to a Stanley Cup game.
Production is limited to 500 units and pricing starts at $68,899 CAD before a $2,100 CAD destination fee. That works out to be $51,545 USD, which is a steal as the non-hybrid US-spec Palisade Calligraphy begins at $54,560 before a $1,600 delivery fee.
