The 2020s haven’t been great for muscle cars. After the horsepower wars of the 2010s, the first half of the 2020s saw a once-thriving muscle car market that previously included all the usual suspects; Chevy, Ford and Dodge, get reduced down to just one survivor, the Ford Mustang. And while the Charger has now returned after a year off, it’s new generation currently offers no V8, no manual, and no rear-wheel-drive version. That means that the Ford Mustang is the final manual transmission muscle car available to buy in 2026.
